Y’all! I am so LATE!! So late, I rushed home during lunch because I forgot to have it autopost. And before you ask about getting a “leg up”, my brother ensured I had this thing filled out last night. So, there! *cheeky wink*

In the words of Rafiki from The Lion King, “It is time!”

We are officially in the middle week of March. Selection Sunday has happened and the big dance is underway! And you know what that means? It’s time for the biggest tournament in College sports, even bigger than my beloved NCAA Football Championship; March Madness.

If you’re anything like me, then you have your bracket filled out, a few viewing parties to attend, and some bets to finalize. If it’s anything like last year, we have some underdogs looking to upset some favorites (think last year’s Virginia vs. UM – Baltimore College upset).

To this day, it still surprises most people, especially men, when they realize I am into the tournament, well sports in general. I played a plethora of sports in high school and even in college. However, after living in SEC Country (Southeastern Conference), sports just naturally became am even larger part of my life and I’m ready to share it more often with y’all! Plus, spitting some March Madness knowledge at the bar usually gets me a free drink or two and major respect.

But if you can’t find me in a sports bar near you, you can find me on Twitter (@HelloLondonxo) to chat about our selections and talk shop. I’m curious to hear your thoughts!

N.B. Oh! And if you’re wondering, yes! Yes, I do have some limited availability left during March Madness for a fly-me-to-you to see the game. Shoot me an email and I’ll see if I can help you with an assist.

Some Notes

Overall, I have North Carolina taking the tournament! I’ve never been a huge fan of Duke but I at least want to see them in the end for a big showdown. I’m always down for a Battle Royale!

  • I have some major upsets like Minnesota. They finished their season strong.
  • Ole Miss will best UVA. I love UVA, I do but UVA does not have the pacing necessary for the NCAA Tournament.
  • I checked some teams’ stats first, specifically in the defense and rebounding categories. Offence wins games, defense wins championships
  • After last year’s major upset with Virginia (UVA), I have been more conscientious about picking underdogs
